The focus of this business meeting is election of new officers.
ALL NOMINATIONS FOR OFFICES MUST BE MADE AND ACCEPTED ON THE GPVA
BUSINESS LIST AT LEAST 48 HOURS BEFORE THE MEETING.
(For purposes of calculating quorum, currently active locals represented
at at least one of the previous two scheduled business meetings and
having at least three fully-participating members are [TBD].)

The focus of this business meeting is the November election, particularly supporting our write-in candidate for president, organizing for passing out literature at polling places, and so on. We will also consider our strategic plans for the future, and how to increase public awareness of our party and platform.
Join the Hampton Roads Green Party (HRGP) for their regular monthly meeting. We will be meeting in the Edgar Allen Poe room at the Russell Memorial Library at 2808 Taylor Rd, Chesapeake, Virginia 23321.
Join us on May 11, 2019 at 10:30am for the state meeting of the GPVA! It will be held at the West End Library in Richmond at 5420 Patterson Avenue. Hope to see you there!
Nothing lives that doesn't also die, an outcome guaranteed by the fundamental laws of nature that govern both energy and complexity. Civilizations, including our own, are no exception. As our strategy for energy capture fails and the sink costs of our furious growth catch up to us, we can reckon from first principles that we are already sliding down the backside of the entropy loop. Very soon, the present economic and social order will permanently fail.
